Once it's downloaded you will need to go into SETTINGS,
choose the GENERAL tab,
and then under directories, you need to ADD and find your EQ2 log file,
it will look like: C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II\logs\Najena
You can also adjust settings to turn off sounds for things like AFKs and Tells. Just dont disable AoE timer stuff.
Obviously for this to work you must have logs enabled in-game and it must be on (running in the background) during raids.
How this will benefit you:
GC is a server side program. Once a raid leader enters a timer or a trigger, the calls for AoEs and cures will be broadcast through your own PC while running GC.
GC also picks up the casting of Dispatch, PoM, and CoB sending an alert through your PC.
Please note in order for it to work, all 24 raid members need to be using it. For example if on Anashti only 23 use it, and the 24th person gets the curse, GC will not announce that person since it is not reading from that person's log file.
